A new hall has been added to the East Gate PRO Business Park, which is being developed by WING

The East Gate PRO Business Park in Fót has reached another important milestone: WING Industrial, the business unit responsible for industrial and logistics developments of WING, the developer of the center, has handed over the fourth, 9,000 square meter hall building. The tenant of the new facility, which has a BREEAM “Very Good” rating, is the Hungarian subsidiary of the package logistics group Packeta, which is active in Central and Eastern Europe. The new hall was built entirely according to the tenant’s requirements, in a so-called built-to-suit (BTS) pre-lease construction, the construction was carried out by Weinberg ’93 Építő Kft., and the project financing was provided by UniCredit Bank.

WING Zrt., one of the leading real estate developers in the Central European region, has further expanded the East Gate PRO Business Park in North Pest. After the successful handover of halls A1, B1 and A2, the fourth building, B2, has also been completed. The 9,000 square meter hall not only increases the park’s capacity, but also, in line with the principles of sustainability, has received the internationally recognized BREEAM “Very Good” rating, similar to the first phase.

In hall B2, one of the region’s fastest growing parcel logistics companies, the Hungarian subsidiary of the Packeta Group, has established its new headquarters for its Hungarian operations. WING Industrial worked closely with the tenant during the development to ensure that the building met their expectations in every aspect. The hall, tailored to the tenant’s needs, is characterized by a larger than usual office area, a more extensive manipulation and parking area, docking and level gates suitable for cross docking, and heat pump heating and cooling.

East Gate PRO Business Park is located in Fót, at the intersection of the M0 and M3 highways, making it easily accessible by road and public transport. Four hall buildings have been completed in East Gate PRO Business Park so far, and the entire project includes the development of a total of six buildings, with approximately 60,000 square meters of leasable area. WING Industrial’s goal with the development is to create modern, sustainable and tenant-centric industrial properties that represent value in the long term.
