New shopping trolley cleaning machine kills bacteria
Asda is testing a shopping trolley cleaning machine that is said to kill 99.9 per cent of bacteria in 15 seconds. The new high-tech device uses electrostatically charged mist to cover the trolleys in anti-microbial liquid. It was the WasteCare group that developed the technology.
