New bacterial strain in organic farming
Scientists from the University of Szeged (SZTE) found a new bacterial strain that can be used in organic farming. The patented strain is naturalized by one of the largest biocontrollers in the USA to produce a new product.
The University has patented a bacterial strain with which bactericidal and antifungal crop protection can be achieved in soil and non-soil cultivation of tomatoes, peppers, salads and cabbage – the University of Szeged told. The patent is utilized by one of the largest company that sells biocontrol products in the US with a recent licensing agreement for the production and marketing of a new product. (MTI)
