A novelty in communication between consumers and retailers
The NFC technology-based system will make the communication between consumers and retailers easier. The new system debuted in a store of a national supermarket chain in Budapest.
According to the Wednesday communication of the Hungarian developer, the TEEG Promotion Kft., the customers who register themselves into the system will receive a vignette with a Near Field Communication (NFC) – short-range radio frequency standard chip. The customers can place the sticker anywhere for example on their cell phones.
In the stores that are connected to the system, the costumers can touch the promotional products with the sticker thereby receiving discounts and various gifts.
The TEEG sticker can replace paper-based coupons, leaflets point collecting booklets, also parking tickets or entrance tickets.
The TEEG Promotion Kft. reported that the application of the system is under discussion with further shops and service providers. (MTI)
