The physical and mental health support program will be a new tax-free benefit
On October 10, 2024, in connection with World Mental Health Day, domestic specialists, researchers, service companies and civil organizations came together to offer employers an innovative solution for 2025 in accordance with the challenges of the new labor market, international recommendations and legal requirements. to support well-being and sustainable economic growth.
The new prevention package specifically targets the physical and mental well-being of employees, with a focus on community relations, within the framework of a new benefit available from 2025. The elements of the prevention package called Social Care include psychosocial risk assessment, health promotion programs, development of leadership competencies, training of an internal team of experts, and sensitization of employees to a health-conscious lifestyle with online and personal training programs. The purpose of the prevention program is for companies to receive scientifically based and sustainable solutions to current labor market challenges, while also complying with the requirements of the ESG Act.
The initiative focuses not only on improving the health of employees, but also on increasing workplace efficiency. Healthy and emotionally balanced employees are more productive, take less sick leave and are demonstrably more committed to the company and its goals. (link).

This fact is also confirmed by the 2023 OECD recommendation Well-being Framework, in which the effect of subjective well-being in relation to performance was examined. Based on the results of the research, people’s satisfaction with their own lives, happiness and emotional stability are crucial not only at the social level, but also in terms of company performance.
