New tax in Poland
Poland’s Minister of Finance Pawel Szalamacha announced that the government imposes a new tax on retail chains. For chains with a turnover below EUR 67 million will have the rate will be 0.7 percent, while those above this threshold will have to pay 1.3 percent. A 1.9-percent extra tax rate will apply for sales generated on Saturdays, Sundays and bank holidays.
