It seems that the days of non-environmentally friendly offices are over
As the intensity of the coronavirus outbreak decreases, workers are returning to the office. However, the “Eco-office” research commissioned by Essity, one of the world’s leading international companies that manufactures hygiene and health products, revealed that the expectations of employees regarding sustainability have changed in the past year and a half.

Even one simple step means a lot
The change is such that employers may want to make it a priority to create an environmentally friendly office and to deal more with sustainability if they want to keep their employees and recruit new ones.
43 percent of workers feel their office is actually “shamefully” polluting, and nearly half are disappointed their employer hasn’t done anything about it during the pandemic. This was revealed by the research of Essity and its brand, which also offers office hygiene products, Tork, which was carried out with the participation of 12,000 employees in seven European countries. According to the survey, 84 percent of employees would like to work in a more environmentally friendly office and 7 out of 10 employees feel that they should take the initiative in the field of sustainability.
Many have already considered the introduction of environmentally friendly solutions themselves, as 1 in 3 workers say their bosses do not care at all about the future of the planet.
