ProVeg welcomes Aldi Süd’s commitment to plant-based products
ProVeg, an organisation promoting the use of plant-based products over animal-based alternatives, has welcomed Aldi Süd’s plan to expand its plant-based product selection in German stores to 1,000 products by the end of 2024. Aldi follows in the footsteps of Lidl, which said early this year that it would be increasing its plant-based offerings and decreasing animal-based products, as part of a strategy to reduce its environmental impact. //
