A 187-country survey conducted by Tufts University examined soft drink, fruit juice and milk consumption habits in various parts of the world. The study found that the least is consumed in each category in East Asia. People drink the most soft drink in the Caribbean, 3.4 a day on average in the 20-39 age group. It is interesting that soft drink consumption is proportionately the lowest in China, at only 0.06 per person per day.
