Uber: more than 600 thousand trips in Budapest with mobile applications

Since its launch in Budapest last November more than 600 thousand rides were made by using the travel sharing service. The development in the Hungarian capital as well as the rapid growth in the number of users and increase the range of the cars is unique – the Uber told MTI on Wednesday.

As advised one thousand car partners and 55 thousand passengers have registered in the Uber platform in Budapest.

30 percent of the Uber-trips in Budapest starts or ends near a metro station. This use is similar to car users who leave their vehicles in the P + R car parks near the subway stations and travel to the city center by public transport – the technology company drew attention. (MTI)
