Shower gel, facial tissue and fabric softener at the top
In the first ten months of 2015 retail sales of the 70 household chemicals and cosmetics product categories measured by Nielsen valued at HUF 290 billion. Value sales were up 7 percent and volume sales stayed put. In the top ten categories shower gel sales grew by 12 percent, facial tissue sales were up 11 percent and fabric softener sales improved by 10 percent. Drug stores and specialist shops increased their share in sales from 32 to 34 percent in January-October 2015.
