Tourism Summit 2019 – Hungarian Tourism Agency: its is the golden age of tourism in Hungary
Hungarian tourism is at its golden age and the sector has never had as much support as it does now – Guller Zoltán, CEO of the Hungarian Tourism Agency (MTÜ) told at the Tourism Summit 2019 conference in Budapest on Monday.
He said that last year more than one and a half times more tourists came to Hungary than the country’s population, the growth of accommodation revenues exceeded the world average, the number of foreign tourists doubled the EU average, the utilization of domestic four- and five-star hotels was almost 80 percent.
