Tourism: Quality Award Act and act preparation

The preparation of the tourism act is currently at the administrative negotiations, the text includes the classification rules on services – said Nemes Andrea, head of the National Economy Ministry’s Tourism and Hospitality Department, at the press conference announcing the winners of the Hungarian Tourism Quality Award on Thursday in Budapest.

The rating currently defines criterias for the restaurants and hotels; but it have to be expanded to other areas of the industry such as taxi companies and travel agencies – told Horváth Gergely, Chief Executive Officer of the Hungarian National Tourist Office (Magyar Turizmus Zrt.) – reports MTI.
