Tourism is built around deer bellowing
The red deer bulls are already in full swing, and the autumn forest is resounding from dusk to dawn, which is why most state forestry companies are organizing interactive deer-roaring tours for those interested, the Ministry of Agriculture (AM) told MTI.
The statement said that the deer-roaring is one of the most impressive natural phenomena of the mating season. It was added that the tours are led by trained forestry experts, and those looking for active recreation are also welcome with family programs and educational presentations, all over the country.
“The deer-rooing train rides provide an unforgettable experience for both young and old every year. On September 20 and 27, Egererdő Zrt. is organizing a program combined with a train ride, and Északerdő Zrt. is also launching special trains from Pálháza and Miskolc. On Saturday, September 27, in addition to the programs featuring hunting curiosities, those who take part can also take part in a guided forest gastro tour”
– they wrote.
In addition, starting from the Kaszó Tourist Center, those interested can also take part in an interactive program combined with a train ride, which will be organized by Kaszó Zrt. several times during September and October – the announcement reads.
According to the information, Ipolyerdő Zrt. is waiting for nature lovers on evening deer-rooing tours on the Kemence Forest Museum Railway on the 20th and 27th, and on September 22, they will take visitors by bus to the Farkas forest near Szombathely, where you can also listen to the bassoon of the deer.
