Tourism agency: domestic guest traffic increased in July on an annual basis

The tourism sector achieved an outstanding result in July: the 1.2 million number of domestic visitors exceeded 1.1 million of July last year, and also in the previous month’s 460 thousand – the Hungarian Tourism Agency (MTÜ) announced on Monday.

Almost 1.4 million guests arrived at accommodation establishments in Hungary in July, spending 4.3 million guest nights. Of this, 1.2 million domestic guests stayed in domestic accommodation for 3.6 million guest nights. (MTI)
