Tourism agency: domestic tourism has recovered
Domestic tourism has recovered steadily from the shutdown caused by the coronavirus pandemic, with foreign guests slower but coming to Hungary, the CEO of the Hungarian Tourism Agency (MTÜ) told Kossuth Radio.
Guller Zoltán reminded that the summer tourism season started in complete freedom, so Hungarian tourism had at least one and a half months of advantage over Europe.
He said that in July the hospitality turnover was 110 billion HUF after 87 billion HUF of last year. (MTI)
