Tourist agency: Israeli tourists are among the first to arrive in Hungary
As Israel is one of the most intensively vaccinated countries in the world, it is likely that it will be one of the states from which they will start traveling soonest, the Hungarian Tourism Agency (MTÜ) announced in a statement on Thursday.
According to the data of the National Tourist Information Center (Ntak), in 2020, 90 percent of Israeli tourists visiting Hungary visited Budapest, and more than 60 percent of the guests came from the 18-44 age group. Among Israeli tourists, Debrecen was one of the most popular destinations next to Budapest, where the number of guests from Israel is growing year by year due to the direct flight. (MTI)
