Tourism agency: the information system would be extended to other tourism providers
After the accommodations, the National Tourist Information Center (NAK) system in tourism would be extended to other service providers to actually measure the performance of the industry, not just at hotels – the Housing and Hospitality Director of the Hungarian Tourism Agency (MTÜ) said at the digital section meeting of the hotel association on Monday in Budapest.
Szabó Áron added that the software is already being prepared for the baths, which can be used voluntarily in the beginning.
He said that in the digitalization application, hotels are relatively well positioned,while the smaller accommodations are much worse: less than 8 percent of other accommodations and pensions use digital technology. Diaries and checkbooks dominate the day-to-day business management, he said. (MTI)
