Tourism Center: the performance of commercial accommodations may broke record in Budapest last year

According to the data of the first 11 months of last year, the number of guests and the number of guest nights in the commercial accommodations of the capital probably broke record – the Budapest Festival and Tourism Center (BFTK) told MTI on Friday.

Data from January to November show that 5.6 percent more, 4,142,283 guests, 3.1 percent more than in 2017, spent 9,546,309 guest nights in Budapest. According to the summary, the expansion of domestic guest traffic is particularly significant, around 10 percent. In the first 11 months of the year, 615 081 guests from Hungary spent 1 215 257 guest nights in the first 11 months of 2018. (MTI)
