Tourism developments in the Balaton Uplands
The Salföldi Major was developed and expanded from EU funds of approximately 400 million HUF. The project handover ceremony called Hidden Treasures in the Balaton Uplands National Park was held in the Salföld Major on Tuesday.
At the ceremony, Rácz András, State Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture, said that last summer 10 million guest nights were spent in Hungarian accommodation establishments, 40 percent of which were in the Balaton area.
As he said, domestic tourism destinations are expected to appreciate this summer as well, and comprehensive developments are also targeting this. (MTI)
