McDonald’s: the first quarter surpassed expectations
Both sales revenue and profit were higher for McDonald’s in the first quarter of 2018 than analysts had expected. This result is even better in the light of the fact that customers also spent more in already existing restaurants, so it wasn’t just new restaurants that drove the growth. Sales were up in the UK, Germany and the USA too.
