Goose sector is going up again

The Hungarian goose sector is export orientated, for example, Hungary is world leader in goose liver exports – agrarszektor.hu wrote. Goose feather and its meat are also an important commodity. After last year’s bird flu this year the number of geese has increased.

The performance of the goose sector in 2017 was about 20 percent lower due to avian influenza than in the previous year. At the same time, this year’s first-half export performance is showing an increase. (agriszektor.hu, MTI)
