Food has become too cheap, Unilever boss says
Food has become too cheap, a senior executive at a global food giant has claimed, as he said that people are too ready to throw meals away because they do not cost enough – reports Penzcentrum.hu.
Jan Kees Vis, the global director for sustainable sourcing development at Unilever, the world’s second-biggest consumer goods company, said that food has become “too cheap” in the developed world, spurring increased consumer waste.
