Information on the control of pesticide-free AKG
With regard to the regulation of the CAP ST Agri-environmental payments measure “It is prohibited to use pesticides in a 6-meter strip along the edges of the field.”, the Hungarian State Treasury, together with the Vár County Government Offices, carries out inspections within the framework of on-site inspections.

In the case of the AKG that has just been launched, the optional commitments also include the creation/maintenance of a green fallow and/or bee pasture field border in each year of the commitment period, at least 6 meters wide and maximum 20 meters wide, in an area corresponding to at least 5% of the areas covered by the commitment. The use of pesticides on the border is not permitted. This regulation is checked partly based on data from the Farming Logbook and partly based on on-site sampling.
