Are we buying more consciously? Demand for Hungarian flavors is unabated
Kifli.hu works with hundreds of Hungarian producers to offer a wider range of quality and sustainable Hungarian food. The demand for products from small Hungarian producers is constantly growing in the online food market, and customers are increasingly consciously choosing domestic flavors. Tons of Hungarian products are added to shopping carts every week, especially among health-conscious customers who pay attention to the health of their families.
Kifli.hu works with hundreds of Hungarian producers, whether it’s primary producers, artisan bakeries, award-winning cheese makers or the best butcher in town. Their common goal is to make as much quality and sustainable Hungarian food available to customers as possible. Since the company’s domestic launch in 2019, the demand for small producer products has been continuously increasing, and currently several tons of quality Hungarian ingredients reach customers every week through the online supermarket. Fresh baked goods, seasonal vegetables and fruits are among the most popular small-scale products, especially among consumers who are conscious of their families’ health.
The products on offer are selected according to strict quality and sustainability criteria, with a preference for natural ingredients, environmentally friendly farming and minimal packaging. A prominent example of cooperation is the partnership with the Association for a Living Tisza, which guarantees that customers will receive products from sustainable sources.
