GfK Hungária expects more conscious gift purchasing
The experts of GfK Hungária’s Retail and Technology area expect more conscious gift purchasing this Christmas from the buyers. Properly to the trends of the previous years, increase in demand will occur this year towards kitchen appliances, beauty and entertainment products, but last year, the sales of sports apparel also showed a significant jump.
Christmas is slowly approaching, the shops are already preparing for the “season”, Santa Claus packages have appeared on the shelves as well as festive decorations. According to the datas of GfK, beside technical products, general clothing and sport clothing products, books, toys are also popular. In the final months of last year the sales of sports apparel increased by more than 50 percent, while toys have nearly tripled its sales numbers, compared to the previous month.
