Conscious care for our four-legged family members

The Dr. Dog Vitamin brand was introduced within the framework of a truly animal-friendly press breakfast. The event was hosted by the University of Veterinary Medicine. Participants were able to meet the brand’s animal-friendly founders: Csaba Zsolt Nagy, Dr. György Lenkei and Gergely Kádár. Among the speakers was Dr. Péter Király, veterinarian and head of Rex Kutyaotthon, who spoke about the importance of dog vitamins and his experiences with the product. Szonja Oroszlán also supported the brand, as she has long been passionate about conscious animal husbandry. She talked about her relationship with her dog and how important it is that our pets also receive foresight and care.  But of course, the main role at the event belonged to the four-legged guests.

Why do dogs need vitamins too?

Because we, humans, do too! Dogs are affected by negative environmental effects, such as airborne dust and pollen, chemicals, air pollution and infections. In fact! One of the consequences of large-scale agriculture is that today’s general food ingredients contain much less useful nutrients than in the past. Between 1930 and 2019, the vitamin and mineral content of many crops and foods was tested in several countries. The research* found a dramatic reduction in nutrients, up to 50-90%, in several cases.
