Cabbage farmers trust in conscious consumers
Hungarians cabbage farmers closed an up and down year. While the first half of the year was good for the industry, in recent times the demand as well as the falling prices have made their lives difficult.
It seems that the several years of decline has stopped on the Hungarian cabbage-growing fields. Currently the cultivation area of cabbage, kale, broccoli and cauliflower is roughly 6 thousand hectares – was said at Syngenta’s traditional professional event, which once again took place in Ócsa, in the center of the domestic cabbage production.
