Subway overtook McDonald's in the number of restaurants
McDonald's is no longer the world leader in the number of the restaurants. According to the recent datas, Subway overtook the U.S. giant.
In the end of 2010, subway had 33,749 restaurants worldwide, while McDonald's, had only about 32,737 units. In addition, Les Winograd Subway spokesman told that last year was only an averaged one, because the company would like to open 1000-2000 new units annually – reports Világgazdaság Online, after CNN.
