Trend change is around the corner in freight transport
The pandemic is likely to generate a trend change in freight transport: while Hungarian – mainly international-destination – road transport produced a major drop in the first half of 2020, rail transport was up 7.5 percent in the same period – reported the Association of Hungarian Logistics Service Centres (MLSZKSZ) in a statement issued on 30 September. Demand also increased for intermodal freight transport. //
