Events featuring animals susceptible to FMD remain prohibited
The National Food Chain Safety Authority (Nébih) would like to draw your attention to the fact that the measures ordered due to the foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) virus have been extended by the National Chief Veterinarian.

It remains prohibited to hold fairs, exhibitions and events involving animal species susceptible to FMD in Hungary. It is prohibited to hold fairs, exhibitions and events for all animal species in all restricted areas, and for all susceptible animal species throughout Hungary. The measures have been extended until 5 May 2025 by Dr. Szabolcs Pásztor, National Chief Veterinarian.
