The Waberer’s group continues to grow
The Waberer’s group is still on a growth path – emphasized Barna Erdélyi, a member of the board of Waberer’s International Nyrt., on Monday, at the online press conference following the publication of the company’s second quarter and half-year financial report.
He announced that the company group closed the second quarter of 2024 with a sales revenue of 192 million euros, which is a 9 percent increase on an annual basis. The company’s consolidated half-yearly sales revenue rose by 10.2 percent to 388.5 million euros, which is the best half-yearly result in the company’s history.
Earnings before interest and taxes (EBIT) were in line with expectations, amounting to 10.7 million euros in the second quarter, and 19.2 million euros in the first half of the year.
Barna Erdélyi pointed out that the half-year EBIT is EUR 6.2 million lower than a year earlier, the decrease being primarily explained by one-off favorable effects affecting the base period.
