Sales of household chemicals and cosmetics keep growing
In the January-October period of 2014 retail sales of household chemicals and cosmetics represented a value of HUF 270 billion, 6 percent more than in the first ten months of 2013. After many years of decline, volume sales rose 2 percent – reported the Nielsen Retail Index. From the Top 10 products value sales of detergent, diaper, fabric softener, deodorant and toothpaste rose by 7-9 percent. Volume sales of toilet paper, diaper, fabric softener, deodorant and shower gel increased by 4-8 percent.
