German economy continues to perform well
Markit Economics Institute’s German Purchasing Managers' Index (PMI) for July became better than expected. It has risen up to this year’s highest value in July.
The preliminary value of the manufacturing PMI became 53.7 points instead of the expected 53.5 points after the 54.5 points of the previous month.
The service sector’s PMI increased to 54.6 points from 53.7 points, compared to the market expectations of 53.2 points. (MTI)
