Hungarians go shopping on the weekend
In value 10% of the weekly total sales at the hypermarkets and Cash&Carry units happens on Sunday, the share is 7% at the discount stores.
According to GfK Hungaria research
company's Retail Analyz last years people go for big value shopping
into the modern retail chanels and use the small shops for daily
shopping.
In H1 this year Hungarian consumers
went most often (average onec in a week) to the small grocery near
their homes, and spent their average HUF 1799, it is 4% hike to the
last year.
Almost one half of the shoppings
happend on the last three days of the week, the Sunday shopping is
more common in hypermarkets, cash&carry shops and discounts.
