Czech retail sales decreasing further
For April, the retail sales were decreasing for the sixth month in the Czech Republic. The economic recession and the rising unemployment rate reduced purchasing.
The annual retail sales decreased by 2 percent after the 1.1 percent decline of March. A higher rate; 3 percent of decline was expected by analysts. The retail consumption significantly reduced due to the rising of the unemployment rate to 7.9 percent – reports ProfitLine.hu.
