The prices of hundreds of other products fell permanently at Tesco
Tesco has announced permanent price reductions for new cosmetic products. As part of a promotion starting on August 8 and lasting until September 4, the department store chain offers several discounts on, among other things, shampoos, hair dyes, hair care products, toothpastes, mouthwashes, deodorants, shower gels, razors and shaving foams, sometimes exceeding 50 percent. At the same time, Tesco has extended its promotion of around 800 household products, launched at the end of June, so that in August, depending on the selection, nearly 1,400 products in the category are available at a significant discount.
Tesco’s long-term price reduction campaign launched at the end of June, which affects the entire category of household products, has been extended by an additional 600 cosmetic products, depending on the selection. At that time, the department store chain offered around 800 items at a low price, 30 of which were important to customers at a discount of more than 30 percent compared to the original price. Tesco extended the validity of the promotion and made new products available at a discount.
Cosmetic products marked with a red arrow and the words “Price reduction” include shampoo, hair dye, hair care, toothpaste, mouthwash, deodorant, shower gel, razors and shaving foam. For example, Dove shower cream is available at a discount of more than 50 percent, Colgate Max White toothpaste at a discount of more than 40 percent, and Pantene Pro-V shampoo at a discount of more than 30 percent. A price reduction of more than 20 percent applies to, among other things, Rexona deodorants, Palette hair dyes, Listerine mouthwash, X-Epil disposable razors or Helia-D Hydramax sunscreen face cream.
The discounted period lasts until September 4, and the nearly 1,400 products concerned are available in Tesco stores and when using the online service from Tesco Otthon, while stocks last.
