Czech retail sales are getting more and more lower
The Czech retail sales declined in December, due to the still weak private consumption. Annual sales, decreased by 1.9 percent after the 4.7 percent of November.
The decline is lasting for 15th months now, although the rate of relapse in December was well below the expectations of the analysts, that was about 3 percent.
Retail sales last year fell by 4.3 percent, because many jobs have disappeared, due to the declining exports and this set back private consumption and the purchasing power of the households – reports ProfitLine.hu.
