Lidl continues the expansion in Serbia
Discounter Lidl continues to expand its network of stores in Serbia: the group’s sixth store has opened in the capital Belgrade, while the city of Čačak now also has its first Lidl supermarket. Both stores feature Lidl’s new modern store design, with a larger sales area, and a product selection of around 1,500 products. Since arriving in Serbia last October, Lidl has managed to get a 3-4 percent market share.
