Sentix’s eurozone investor sentiment index deteriorated further

Investor sentiment in the euro area deteriorates further
According to a survey published on Sentix’s website on Monday, the eurozone investor sentiment index fell 2.7 points to 16.9 points, the lowest level since April. The market expected a less deteriorating value of 18.6 points in October after the 19.6 points in September.
Of the two components of the indicator quantifying the assessment of the current situation weakened from 30.8 points in September to 26.3 points, while the six-month sub-index indicating cyclical expectations fell from 9 points to 8 points. (MTI)
