The Szarvas-based Gallicoop Turkey Processor increased its market share in the poultry processing market further in 2013. The company's export sales increased significantly, the company's revenue last year was 32.1 billion HUF, similar to the previous year – the company told MTI on Wednesday.

The company increased its turkey meat sales from 21.7 thousand tonnes to 24 thousand tonnes. Export increased as well. The net sales of foreign markets rose by 22 percent in one year to 11.5 billion HUF. The products are mainly exported to Austria, Romania and to England. Croatia is a featured destination as well. Last year the company exported 12 thousand tonnes of turkey meat, 115.6 percent of the amount of the previous year. (MTI)
