Investments in agriculture to increased further
The increase in agricultural investments continued in 2014, the rate of growth is more than the national economy average – Nagy István, Parliamentary Minister of State said at the 21st Traditional Harvesting Days in Biharnagybajom.
During the year a total of 320.4 billion HUF was spent on the development of farmers – Nagy István stated. He added that the number of agricultural workers grew again in 2014.
Nagy István, called it an achievement that livestock production expanded in the first three months of the year. He stressed that the livestock is continuously growing in Hungary, due to the effectiveness of the animal production subsidy scheme, the land lease program and due to the consistent market development steps.
