Milk prices continued to rise
Price increases continued in the dairy market in December. The producer price of milk increased to 88.65 HUF per kg, which is a 6 percent increase, compared to November and a 13 percent increase, compared to a year before – Világgazdaság wrote on Monday, referring to the data of Agricultural Economics Research Institute (AKI).
The AKI, however, also indicated that the price of raw milk is still 18 percent higher 104.67 HUF than the export price in the domestic market, but decreased compared to the previous month for the first time since April 2016. Compared to December of 2015, however, it was still 31 percent higher. (hirado.hu)
