Retail sales grew further in the Czech Republic
Retail sales in the Czech Republic increased by 7.9 percent last November, compared to a year before. In October, the growth was 2.0 percent – the Czech Statistical Office announced on Wednesday in Prague.
The retail sales figures of the end of last year indicates that the growth of the Czech economy accelerated and the main driving force is household consumption, which is the result of better salaries and declining unemployment. (Kokes János, MTI)
