Euro area’s GDP grew by 0.6 percent in the third quarter
According to the expectations, the euro area and the European Union’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) rose by 0.6 percent in the third quarter as reported by the European Union’s statistical office Eurostat on Tuesday.
According to the preliminary data of Eurostat, the gross domestic product of the 19 member states of the euro area and the 28 member states of the European Union both grew by 0.6 percent in the third quarter of this year, compared to the previous quarter.
In the second quarter, the quarterly GDP growth was also 0.7 percent in the Euro and in the EU. After the Eurostat review, the second-quarter GDP growth was adjusted from 0.6 percent increase to 0.7 percent growth. (MTI)
