Euro zone’s retail sales continued to increase
The volume of Euro zone’s retail was increasing for the fourth consecutive month in August, despite the rising unemployment and worsening economic outlook – EU's statistical office, Eurostat announced on Wednesday.
Retail sales increased by 0.1 percent compared with July. Compared to last August retail sales decreased by 1.3 percent. Experts expected a monthly 0.1 percent decline, while on an annual comparision a 2 percent decrease was expected in sales. (tozsdeforum.hu)
