Retail sales increased further in the Czech Republic
Retail sales increased by 0.3 percent in the Czech Republic in February, compared to January. The annual increase was 8.1 percent in February – the Czech Statistical Office (CSÚ) announced on Friday.
The statistical office points out that retail sales are increasuing for the fourth consecutive months.
Car sales and car repairs contributed to the greatest extent in the growth. On a monthly basis, this segment increased by 0.4 percent, and on an annual basis by 19.7 percent. (Kokes János, MTI)
