The fruit distillate industry's performance continued to grow

The quantity of pálinka increased by 27 percent, and was a total of 4.526 million hectoliter degree, which was boiled by 277,590 person. Their number was 33 percent more than in 2010.

The licensing of private distilleries did not decrease the performance of commercial distilleries: In the 539 distilerries of Hungary a total of 5,753 million hectoliter degree fruit distillate was produced last year. (MTI)
