The role of local products continues to grow

According to V. Németh Zsolt Minister of State for Rural Development, the role of local products continues to grow in the future in the food industry, therefore the government considers the support of operators in the sector as an important task.

V. Németh Zsolt told at the opening ceremony of the Pécs Expo International trade fair that the local products are becoming increasingly popular. The government seeks to support the local farmers’ stores and networks with a higher source in the next EU budgetary period between 2014-2020 by stimulate the creation of farmer coutyards, giving the farmers a chance to increase their income.
