GDP growth in the euro area continued to slow down in the third quarter
In the third quarter, GDP growth in the euro area continued to slow down, compared to the previous quarter – according to the second estimate of the European Union’s statistical office, Eurostat. Hungary has achieved the third largest annual growth rate in the third quarter in the European Union.
In the 19 countries of the euro area, gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 0.2 percent in the third quarter and by 0.3 percent in the 28 EU member states. In the second quarter, 0.4 percent occured in the euro area and 0.5 percent in the EU on a quarterly basis. (MTI)
